For Families

Special Education & Deafblindness Support

Support for families after a diagnosis and as they navigate what comes next. I offer a listening ear, thoughtful questions, and resources to help families feel less alone and more informed.

My work includes special education, deafblindness, and Usher syndrome—but family support is about more than systems and services. I listen to what families are experiencing, help them find their way through new questions, and share resources that may support their next steps.

This is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I never want a family to feel the way I did more than 25 years ago—alone, scared, and overwhelmed. I learn as much from families as they learn from me.
